The Greater Union Organisation was founded in 1910 under the name of Spencer's Pictures LTD, and has always been a dedicated film exhibition company.

As well as this, they provide a range of audio/visual technology to other cinemas across Australasia, duplicate film stock and manufacture film processors. They are also part owners of the Roadshow Distrubutors.
