It all started in 1985 in a tiny shop in Brisbane, Queensland, just off the Queen Street Mall. Since then, City Beach has grown to become Australia’s biggest and best surf and skate retailer.  From those humble beginnings until now, our commitment to build huge stores in the best malls, that are heaps of fun to visit, has made City Beach shops a great place to hang out when your shopping with your friends. By getting inspiration from all over the world, and from all forms of electronic media, we keep the shops fresh by staying in touch with what you want from us. By having a simple philosophy of employing the people that live the City Beach life and giving you what you want, when you want it, we’ve changed from being just a retail shop into playing a part in the day to day life of Australia’s youth culture and lifestyle.  With stores in Perth, Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, City Beach is still growing, and if we’re not already around the corner, stay tuned, we’ll be coming soon to a mall near you.
