“Originally from a sugar cane farm up north, Karla moved to the big smoke to study journalism and public relations. It was during her uni years she began her stint broadcasting afternoon news on Radio Metro way back when in 2006.

After an extended leave of absence to perform important research such as ‘where in the world serves the best mojitos?’ and ‘does Argentina really have the best steak?’, Karla has returned to Metro and taken to the morning bulletin, forcing her to rise at an hour unheard of in her uni days.”
