Australia’s #1 DJ TyDi is 23 years of age and formerly known as Tyson Illingworth before 2002 when he became the future of global dance music. He is currently listed as Australia’s #2 DJ, losing out in 2010 to Aston Shuffle after holding the #1 spot for two years prior. TyDi is Brisbane, Queensland born and raised and has been performing main stage at international events such as Sensation, Trance Energy (Holland), Godskitchen and many more, he has surely made a name for himself. With charting success for his singles, remixes and albums, he has been named the artist of tomorrow by some of the biggest industry names in the world. TyDi has been working with big names like Armada and Ministry of Sound to release A-class productions and share his music from across the world, each week. Currently in 2011, he has released a new single Never Go Back featuring Brianna Holen and remixed Markus Schulz – Without You Near, as well as Fabio XB – Reflected. His 2011 album will be announced later this year. TyDi attended the 2010 International Dance Music Awards in Miami last year where he was presented with the award for Best Breakthrough DJ of the world, personally presented to him by international dance giant Tiesto. He is touring constantly throughout Australia, Europe, Canada, the US and Asia. TyDi’s versatility has proven his ability to produce soundtracks for hard hitting government advertising campaigns, video games and luxury property developments.
