Matt Downey - Mixtape Mondays

I’m Matt, and I host Mixtape Mondays alongside my lovely assistant, Daniel. As soon as it hits 9pm on Monday nights, we mix live on air, playing the latest and awesomeness hip-hop, rnb, remixes & mash-ups. Mixtape Monday’s covers almost anything that goes boom, from Kanye West to Steve Aoki, Jay-Z to Atrak and even Brandy to Black Eyed Peas. (Just kidding, we don’t play any Black Eyed Peas. Promise)

From time to time, we try include a few local tracks – but only the good stuff. Between songs we cover the ghetto gossip, discussing who’s new in hip hop, who’s selling records, and who’s not, and somehow manage to squeeze in a weekly mini mix from DJ Kronic. Being as talented as we are arrogant, we also find room to drop several of our own mash-ups and remixes, and remind everyone to follow us on Twitter.
