PNC, aka Sam Hansen has been dubbed the most up and coming artist in Aotearoa Hip-Hop, he has even been compared to the likes of Jay-Z. At the age of just 21, he has worked alongside some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop such as P-Money, with whom he co-wrote the chart topping hit ‘Everything’. P-Money is only the icing on the cake though, PNC has also worked with Scribe and performed alongside names like Lupe Fiasco and Dizzee Rascal.Not only has PNC worked with these big names he is also onto his second solo album following his very successful debut album ‘Rookie Card’ which dominated the charts in 2006. In 2007 he was nominated for several awards including 2 nominations for the New Zealand Pacific Music Awards as well as 2 Australian Urban Music Awards. He took out the Best Hip-Hop Album at the prestigious Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards. His debut album ‘Rookie Card’ was also named in top 10 New Zealand album of the year by Yahoo. His music has been proving itself popular by the amount of radio play it receives and it seems that PNC’s career is only just kicking off. PNC’s second album is due for release this month and is set to be even bigger than ‘Rookie Card’. Part 1
