Faker’ is one of Australia’s most well-known alternative rock bands. Joined together in Sydney in 1996 the band includes Nathan Hudson (vocals), Lucio Pedrazzi (drummer), Stefan Gregory (guitarist), and Nicholas Munnings (bassist). The band has now released two studio albums. Their first ‘Addicted Romatic’ was released in 2005, and their second ‘Be The Twilight’ was released November 2007 featuring their most popular song ‘This Heart Attack’. The biggest buzz coming from the band these days has to do with lead singer and founder of the band Nathan Hudson. He just recently came out saying that he was gay, stating “My association with being gay was that it was bad and dark and not good for you. I had trouble finding people to look up to…I’m happy to talk about being gay for that kid in the suburbs who’s  15 and scared.” Hopefully Hudson’s bravery will help those who are struggling with their own sexuality.
